தூத்துக்குடியில் ₹20,800 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் 1,600 மெகாவாட் திறன் கொண்ட புதிய சூப்பர்கிரிட்டிகல் அனல்மின் நிலையம் அமைக்க தமிழ்நாடு அரசு அறிவித்தது. தலா 800 மெகாவாட் திறன் கொண்ட இரண்டு அலகுகளைக் கொண்ட இத்திட்டம் பொது–தனியார் கூட்டாண்மை முறையில் செயல்படுத்தப்படும்.

Tamil Nadu announced a new 1,600 MW supercritical thermal power station at Thoothukudi at an estimated cost of ₹20,800 crore. The project, consisting of two 800 MW units, will be implemented under the Public-Private Partnership model.
