தமிழ்நாட்டின் மகேந்திரகிரியில் உள்ள ISRO Propulsion Research Complex-ல் அரை-கிரையோஜெனிக் என்ஜின் Power Head Test Article-ஐ 200 டன் முழு உந்துவிசை நிலையில் ISRO வெற்றிகரமாக சோதித்தது. இது PHTA தொடர் சோதனைகளில் 9-வது சோதனையாகவும், 100% முழு உந்துவிசையில் நடத்தப்பட்ட முதல் சோதனையாகவும்ும். 2000 kN வகை SE2000 என்ஜினால் இயக்கப்படும் SC120 அரை-கிரையோஜெனிக் நிலை, LVM3-ன் தற்போதைய L110 core stage-ஐ மாற்றுவதற்காக உருவாக்கப்படுகிறது.
Summary (English)
ISRO successfully conducted a hot test of the Semi-Cryogenic Engine Power Head Test Article at its full thrust level of 200 tonnes at the ISRO Propulsion Research Complex, Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu. It was the ninth test in the PHTA series and the first conducted at 100% thrust. The SC120 semi-cryogenic stage powered by the 2000 kN-class SE2000 engine is being developed to replace the L110 core stage of LVM3.
