₹2,000 வரை மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் UPI பணப்பரிவர்த்தனைகளுக்கு வங்கிகள் அல்லது payment system providers நேரடியாகவோ மறைமுகமாகவோ கட்டணம் விதிக்க முடியாது என்று அரசிதழ் அறிவிப்பின் மூலம் மத்திய அரசு தெளிவுபடுத்தியது. RuPay debit card மூலம் ₹2,000 வரை மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் பணப்பரிவர்த்தனைகளுக்கும் இத்தகைய கட்டணம் விதிக்க முடியாது.
Summary (English)
The Government clarified through a Gazette notification that banks and payment system providers cannot impose direct or indirect charges on UPI transactions of up to ₹2,000. Payments of up to ₹2,000 made through RuPay-powered debit cards will also remain free of such charges.
