Employees' Provident Fund Organisation கட்டாய வரம்பிற்கான மாத ஊதிய உச்சவரம்பை ₹15,000-இலிருந்து ₹25,000 ஆக உயர்த்த மத்திய அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது. இந்த முடிவின் மூலம் கூடுதலாக 51 லட்சத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஊழியர்கள் கட்டாய EPFO பாதுகாப்பின் கீழ் வருவார்கள் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. இதற்கான அரசின் ஆண்டு செலவு சுமார் ₹11,339 கோடியாக மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
