Summary (English)
New Zealand's Parliament passed legislation to implement the Free Trade Agreement with India by a vote of 93 to 29. Under the agreement, all Indian goods will receive duty-free access to the New Zealand market, while tariffs on about 95% of New Zealand's exports to India will be eliminated or significantly reduced. The agreement will enter into force after both countries complete their domestic ratification processes.
