Domestic Tourism Expenditure Survey-ன் படி, வருடாந்திர overnight visitor-trip பிரிவில் உத்தரப் பிரதேசம் 15.7% பங்குடன் முதலிடத்திலும், தமிழ்நாடு 13.4% பங்குடன் இரண்டாவது இடத்திலும், ராஜஸ்தான் 8.0% பங்குடன் மூன்றாவது இடத்திலும் இருந்தன.
