NH-179B-ன் Tambaram–Tindivanam பகுதியில் உள்ள Paranur Toll Plaza-வில் தமிழ்நாட்டின் முதல் Multi-Lane Free Flow tolling system-ஐ NHAI செயல்படுத்தியது. தடுப்புக்கம்பிகள் இல்லாத இந்த அமைப்பு Automatic Number Plate Recognition மற்றும் FASTag தொழில்நுட்பங்களை பயன்படுத்துகிறது.

NHAI rolled out Tamil Nadu's first Multi-Lane Free Flow tolling system at Paranur Toll Plaza on the Tambaram-Tindivanam section of NH-179B. The barrierless system uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition and FASTag technology.
